Hi, I’m Ellen Doyle. I'm here to help you style a warm, traditional home—without the overwhelm—through curated, neutral (and very cosy) pieces that work beautifully together.

The story behind the shop

I’m lucky to live near Deerpark Forest, Virginia, Co. Cavan, where my dad’s family once lived in the loveliest 1860 gatekeeper’s lodge.

That house—Doyle’s Lodge—has always felt like a thread back to the people I love. When renovating the lodge proved out of reach, I poured that same love of heritage, comfort, and quiet beauty into Doyle’s Lodge Interiors: a small online shop focused on pieces that make a room feel finished, welcoming, and calm.

My Styling Philosophy 

• Homes should soothe. A home should feel good the second you open the door.
• Simple coordination beats decision fatigue. I curate pieces that already work together, so colour confidence comes easy.
• Quality over quantity. Fewer, better textiles you’ll reach for every season.
• Warm, traditional style—never stuffy. Think classic cottage comfort with elegant details.
